I can confirm this. There are many problems with the wind force cards. With a 2070 S, if you don’t turn off the 0 rpm mode using the fans, the card will begin revving. Since these cards don’t have fans that operate at low speeds, they quickly switch from completely off to nearly maximum for a brief moment. If you can install MSI’s triple fan card, that would be ideal. Additionally, the NZXT H510 offers a great budget-friendly case.
For the R5 3600, an NVIDIA GPU like the RTX 3060 or RTX 3080 would offer the best performance.
You don't need to switch to a NVIDIA card if you want comparable results with one. For similar performance on a NVIDIA platform, I suggest the 2070 Super since older 2070 models are now rare. When choosing aftermarket options, consider MSI Trio, ASUS Strix, or EVGA cards. Avoid GIGABYTE and ZOTAC as they are cheaper but lack 0 RPM mode, meaning the card runs continuously with lower factory overclocking. I can confirm MSI is a solid choice.
