Check AMD compatibility for Corsair RAM models.
Hello everyone, the RAM Corsair Vengeance PRO 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz (CMW32GX4M2C3200C16) works with the MB ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming for the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. I’ve located it in my country at a reasonable price and I really like its RGB lighting and UI features.
Hello and thank you. I think everything will work out smoothly. Probably just a small adjustment needed.
It's great to be part of the forum! Tuning generally refers to adjusting settings for better performance or sound quality. Regarding the BIOS, yes, booting into it is usually necessary after making changes.
He refers to adjusting the clock speeds, which is possible if you can access the BIOS. But if the hardware is completely unresponsive, you won't be able to get in.
It seems this configuration should work well. Many users have shared similar setups, like the ones listed on PCPartPicker. Just make sure to enable DOCP in your motherboard settings—usually under the tweaking options. RAM will typically operate at 2133MHz, but with DOCP it can boost to 3200MHz.
Welcome to the forum. Most DDR4 RAM is compatible with the AM4 platform, though speeds may vary based on your CPU and motherboard. Ensure you install it in slots 2 and 4 (for a 2x16GB kit), then configure BIOS to enable DOCP or XMP. Save and exit; it should boot. If issues persist, set the DRAM voltage to 1.35V, activate DOCP, and retry.
Thanks everyone for your quick replies! It's puzzling that the Corsair page doesn't mention Ryzen compatibility for some of its RAM models. I just placed an order and they're on their way.
it's just because they haven't physically tested them. but there is no reason it won't work. they just don't want to guarantee a certain stable speed and timings without testing it first.
