I recently purchased an Asus P5WDG2 WS PRO. After installing a PC2-5300 with 2GB RAM, an E2160 graphics card, and an HD4850 from HIS, the system started but displayed the error "Chassis intruded! Fatal error... System halted". I attempted to fix it by resetting CMOS/bios, using jumper connections on the chassis intrusion headers, and confirmed it's a test bench with no sensors or switches. I also tried accessing BIOS, but it remains stuck on the splash screen. Please help, thanks! — Edited June 21, 2017 by Rekted Pictures

The motherboard features a chassis intrusion header. You likely need to connect the corresponding pins. This is done to stop unauthorized access; server cases may include cables for this purpose. Simply connect its pins.

It's an older security function. There should be a switch on the case that activates this alarm when the case is opened. You can usually disable the alarm in BIOS.

On the main panel there are two headers: one for CMOS located in a typical spot, and another near the intrusion sensor and ground. Everything appears correct, but activating it causes the system to detect a chassis intrusion. Critical failure detected—system has stopped working.

The primary issue is that I cannot access bios. The splash screen shows spam for Del and it quickly jumps to the American Megatrends page.
