I'm a PC gamer who needed to purchase a PS4 controller and asked if it's safe to charge it on my PC's front USB port.

Consoles are just PCs optimized for gaming, but they can handle various tasks too, so it's safe. The 5V requirement for charging remains the same. However, if you used your PS4 alongside a PC, you might avoid touching the controller, haha.

I was browsing YouTube and noticed many comments warning about potential harm to my PS4 controller from charging it in a standard outlet. I'm wondering if it's safe to use a PC charger without an adapter.
