Charging for a 250 Mbps connection while receiving just 5 Mbps over Ethernet is unusual.
Hello, I observed my internet speed was significantly lower than expected. After resetting the router, I still faced slow performance on websites. A speed test revealed only about 5 Mbps over Ethernet, which is far below my plan’s 250 Mbps. Other tests showed similar slowdowns, around 1 Mbps on Wi-Fi. I’ve also checked my phone’s connection and got comparable results. Could there be an issue with the network hardware or configuration? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Landon.
I don’t have another cable to try, but I’m not sure this one is faulty since it arrived just a few months ago. It’s a top-notch cable with positive reviews on Amazon. I’ll likely reach out to the ISP soon if the issue persists.
Establish a direct link to the modem via a small cable included with it.
