I work with one 57" Samsung screen (7680x2160 at 125% scaling) and a few similar PCs that all function properly. After installing Windows 11 version 24H2, everything worked smoothly until I reinstalled it. Once the monitor was off and then back on, my layout got messed up—programs shifted, resized incorrectly, and some windows appeared on the wrong side of the screen. In DaVinci Resolve, the interface changed drastically, with Photoshop images appearing on the left and oversized windows covering the right side. I tried different cables, switched to HDMI, re-installed Windows, and even used a registry fix, but nothing resolved the issue. Switching between monitors via KVM didn’t help either. It seems this problem is likely tied to Windows 11 version 24H2 rather than my monitor settings.
