I have two SSDs. One holds your Windows10 installation, 250GB in size. The other contains a Windows7 install, about 500GB but only around 50GB of usable space. I need the 250GB for my Windows10 C drive. Would swapping them be okay? I prefer not to reinstall everything right now, though I understand that’s common advice. I don’t have time to set everything up again. Could I back up the 500GB to a larger HDD as an image, clone the 250GB to that backup, and then transfer the 500GB image to the now-empty 250GB drive? If possible, any recommendations or tools would help. I usually use Macrium for full backups.

That’s the ideal time to proceed. I just tried a free tool named Disk Genius to duplicate backups and transfer them between drives, though any method works fine.
