If it wasn’t the 2666, I wouldn’t recommend a nightly memtest unless you’re certain. A minor adjustment of 0.05 or 0.1 V might stabilize it, but if MemTest detects issues, a slight bump could help. Otherwise, you’d just get a faster PC with no other problems.

This happens because RAM uses Double Data Rate (DDR) and reads/writes on both rising and falling edges of each cycle. Command rate refers to the time between selecting the RAM and sending commands, measured in clock cycles. It’s unrelated to the RAM’s speed. One transition equals 1T (one cycle), two transitions equal 2T (two cycles).
