Changing motherboard
Changing motherboard
I'm preparing to upgrade my motherboard and wanted to know about any software considerations. I should check if I need to remove certain drivers or perform other tasks. My current setup is an MSI B360 Gaming Plus, which I'll switch to an MSI Z390 Gaming Plus. I'm already running an i7 9700K and will only replace the motherboard, not any other hardware. I'm using the latest Windows 10 version. The main goal is to enable CPU and RAM overclocking, but I'm unsure if the current board supports it. Any advice or tips would be appreciated!
The only expected shift besides motherboard drivers is the operating system itself. I’ve learned that users often need to obtain updated licenses, but I discovered a Microsoft guide to help prevent issues and ensure compatibility. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...are-change
