Hey there! Yes, you could try swapping the motherboard and CPU and boot up Windows normally. Just make sure everything is compatible before doing it. Good luck with the upgrade!

It seems the software might connect to the motherboard's serial number, meaning changing the board could affect the original OEM code.

From Windows 8 onward, hardware changes don't affect performance. I frequently swap hard drives between computers, using Windows 10 on each, and it scans for new devices before starting normally.

It will work. You might see an "activate windows" prompt at the bottom of your screen. Reaching out to Microsoft with details about replacing a faulty motherboard resolved the issue completely.
