If I am downloading something through wifi and I plug in an ethernet cable, will it corrupt or do something to the downloading files? (By the way I am downloading win 10)

There are some packet losses, they will be retransmitted.

It seems likely if everything went through, it would work well. I’d think it might stop midway or finish successfully.

Ensure you verify file consistency by performing an integrity test and matching it with the known hash value. I believe the Windows Media Creation Tool includes a built-in verification feature.
