Changing a program's priority via Task Manager may cause instability.
I'm looking into various programs, especially browsers and medical software. For instance, at work we use a web-based tool that shows upcoming appointments in a queue (we rely on Google Chrome). Sometimes it functions smoothly, but other times it lags when someone moves to another location. At other times, refreshing the browser page is necessary to see the latest list. I’m finding myself needing to restart Chrome to keep things updated automatically. I’m considering adjusting priorities so the PC I’m using updates faster. Of course, there are external factors like network speed and server performance that affect this. I’m just trying to find ways to simplify my workflow.
It seems some people won't experience the problem while I do. Honestly, it might be related to system connectivity or just how quickly the server responds for different users. Priority shifts can cause instability too.
