Changes require significant storage capacity
Hello Friends, When we first install Windows and Office, the storage needed is minimal—around 20 GB—but after updates, the required space jumps significantly, often surpassing 30 GB. I recently performed a clean installation of Office 2013 SP1, and suddenly received about 1.2 GB of updates in my Windows Update folder. This is puzzling. How can we free up that extra space?
I usually use ccleaner daily while browsing many websites for my SEO tasks. However, it doesn’t really free up the storage. Am I doing it incorrectly? Should I look into options to clear out that space? In fact, I also run a disk cleanup to remove Windows updates, but that doesn’t make much difference. I only have 2 GB of extra software installed, and my hard drive is already filled with 35 GB of data.
