For those who haven't managed a connection on FTTH, I'm now using the French ISP ORANGE with a 1GB/300Mbps plan: https://boutique.orange.fr/internet/offr...livebox-up. I'm planning to switch to another provider called FREE, which just launched a new freebox model: https://www.free.fr/freebox/. This service offers two units—a server box (similar to a DIY router) and a player box (for TV or other uses). The specifications for the new boxes are: SERVER: FTTH 10GB/1GB or hybrid xDSL/4G 200Mbits/60Mbits quad-core ARMv8 Snapdragon 835 Qualcomm APQ8098, QI wireless charger, NAS with 4HDD, integrated Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 4.1, 2 Gbits ports, 4 Ethernet ports, USB 3.0, USB-C 3.0, HDMI input, and a DECT port. The player box is actually a hybrid unit with 4K/HD support plus a DEVIALET soundbox! https://www.devialet.com/fr-fr/ https://www.frandroid.com/telecom/554341...ebox-delta If you don’t mind the details, I won’t dwell much on it. Keep an eye out for unboxing, setup guides, and speed tests—there’s a great YouTube channel that can give you a good preview!

Sorry everyone... The transition took several days. I began the process on December 21st. At D+22, I finally got my new Delta box... Here are some pictures from the hardware: https://nextcloud.rkn.ovh/index.php/s/sTpjKNC6WqS3dH8 Regarding the FTTH technology, I now have more details. Free is using FTTH 10G-EPON 802.3AV. Next Monday will come, as the new optical route needs to be configured... I’m curious if the process is similar in your country?
