Changed the VBios from MyAsus on my laptop by accident. Need assistance.
I recently performed a thorough reset after using the debloat tool and disabling Windows updates. To undo the changes, I had to reset again, removed the Armoury crate, and updated the Vbios. After that, I was able to eject my GPU, but further troubleshooting revealed issues. The task manager didn’t respond, games didn’t wake up the GPU unless I selected it in benchmarking tools, and the system entered extreme power-saving mode unexpectedly. Reinstalling Armoury helped a bit, though it caused random spikes in activity. I contacted Asus, but they haven’t reached out since then. The screen would freeze briefly at startup, and uninstalling the crate was difficult due to high memory usage. I’m unsure what originally triggered this problem or how to restore my original BIOS settings. Should I consider another hard reset?
Check if the newest System BIOS is installed. Have you attempted to reformat and install Windows 11 from the ground up with UEFI enabled, legacy turned off, and Secure Boot activated?
You might have a switch or BIOS configured for an integrated GPU exclusively.
It occurred precisely following a full Windows 11 reboot, UEFI activated, and Secure Boot turned on.
