Changed from a 970 Plus M.2 to a 980 Pro but still can't access the BIOS.
I've been using three 970 Plus NVMe drives in my PC after upgrading to a larger 980 Pro. The initial setup went smoothly, but I needed more space so I upgraded again. When I installed the 980, I expected it to be straightforward. Now that it's in place, I simply access BIOS and switch back to drive 1, which holds all my games. Drive 3 remains for storage, including my games. The only change in BIOS is that Drive 1 switches to PCIE remapping once the 980 is installed. I've formatted the drives and updated the BIOS. Any advice would be welcome. I7-10700K EVGA 2080 Super MSI MEG Z490 Ace 970 Plus NVME's
The bootloader likely landed on drive 3 since Windows' installer seems stuck.
I also changed the 980 to drive 2, but it worked the same. 980 functions well when connected to an external reader, displaying and identifying the drive. Mobo also handles it correctly.
