Think about installing everything on the SSD, not just the operating system or random files. Important programs will load quicker with an SSD. You also have the option to relocate game folder locations—moving them to a HDD might help if that’s what you’re experiencing.

the main reason for this update is to avoid warnings like "disk space is running out" or "not enough space on drive C: to update." I won’t add much else except maybe some steam.
