I accept the above post, performing a clean installation. This removes any residual bloat from the previous OS and provides a fresh beginning.

It's fine, but I'm short on time to re-download everything. Plus, my data limit is 300 GB.

Ensure you have a second or backup hard drive, then transfer all your games to that drive. Afterward, install Steam without opening it, move your games to the new drive, and launch it. Don’t forget to back up any other programs you rely on. This helps conserve bandwidth, especially if you’re using Comcast.

Comcast suck, but i did recommend a few things he could do to save him from the cap. Even if the stuff he has is crap.
