my desktop background appears green, but on my laptop it looks different. I need to apply the same lime-green shade with a darker tone, avoiding seaweed or dark grass colors. I prefer a solid green without custom color settings.

Check that you have the most recent windows 10 update, there's an option for custom colour in that. Or if you don't want to update for whatever reason, this may work for you http://www.thewindowsclub.com/add-custom...windows-10

You're currently on the Creators Update (Build 15063) or later, and you have the option to choose a custom color.

I thought it was part of the latest W10 release, didn’t realize it was included in the creator update. I don’t recall signing up for it since I have the alternative option available.

Sure, I'm currently on 14393.1480 and updating is taking a bit longer than expected.
