You cannot change your Windows 7 progress bar to red directly through standard settings. The progress bar is controlled by system preferences, but it's limited in Windows 7. You might need to use third-party tools or workarounds if you want a custom appearance.

For instance, you can alter the login screen background to a custom image—just replace the default icon and use RegEdit for most tasks. The challenge arises when the registry documentation is lacking. In short, yes, it’s possible, though locating the exact registry entries can be tricky.

Haha, if you're not ready yet, I'll try it when I get back in about three and a half hours from work. I'm just a bit interested too. I saw a photo of a blue one and it looked great.
