Hello People,
I intend to purchase the "Keychron K2 (Hot-Swappable) Version 2" keyboard, which features Gateron switches. I have a question about whether it's possible to replace the optical switches with Gateron ones later, and which model would be more durable and suitable for gaming?

& What are the differences in durability and gaming performance?
My last Logitech mechanical keyboard experienced a double-click issue within two months.

Optical switches are compatible only with certain keyboards, not with standard mechanical switches.

You might want to explore this and that. If you're keen on purchasing a Keychron keyboard with optical switch support, then consider the K3, K6 or K8 models. They are ensured to function properly with other optical switches out of the box, though the K12 is different.
Here’s a brief list from Keychron’s website. Are you certain you want to stick with Keychron?
