If the drift is bothersome and you can't resolve it using advice from certain YouTube videos, then go ahead and swap them out.

It depends on how severe you feel about it and its impact on your gameplay. I experience noticeable upward drift when the device is in neutral position, along with some inaccuracies. This hasn't been a big issue before, but now it's leading to incorrect selections in menus and false inputs. You can spot it in the calibration settings. I might consider replacing it with a hall effect component, though they’re a bit pricey. The problem will likely worsen as it degrades, so ordering sooner rather than later would be wise.
