Hello! I haven’t found a way to conceal the network and sound icons in the Win 11 taskbar. I’m not sure how to remove them or hide them from view. Let me know if you’d like more details!

Navigate to your taskbar settings by right-clicking and selecting Taskbar Settings. Once the window opens, scroll down to locate "Notification area" and click on "Choose icons for the taskbar".

Thanks for the assistance. It seems the "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" options don't cover the network and sound settings... I believe this might be a Windows 10 to Windows 11 problem. Appreciate the support!

I checked my Windows 11 laptop and didn’t see any way to hide those icons. Online searches confirm the feature isn’t available. It seems there’s no built-in option, and attempting a registry change could be risky—consider backing up your registry first if you decide to try.

Avoid checking those icons. Are they really an issue? I enable auto-hide for my toolbar, and I only access it when opening a new program. It's faster to use ALT-TAB to switch windows than to bring up the toolbar.
