Hey everyone, I’m sorry for my unclear writing. I’m trying to move my SSD with Windows 10 from my old laptop to a new gaming rig without reinstalling Windows. I already removed the Windows key from my old laptop, but I’m wondering if I can do this simply by adding the SSD to the new motherboard. If it might cause issues, someone could help me figure it out.

There are likely several problems to address. Stability is the key focus. The best approach is to reinstall Windows. It usually takes no more than an hour. Avoid procrastination.

Starting from scratch. Switching platforms carries a high risk of problems.

The chipset driver is available on AMD's website, not Gigabyte. The Gigabyte page contains many old information.
