To give you a little more information: if you want to make your cpu run faster, you need to change the clock speed, this is called overclocking. the typical way to modify clock speeds is in the motherboards BIOS. BE CAREFUL, you can damage components easily changing these settings (especially voltages)
Most Intel processors can be increased in speed with suitable workloads and cooling solutions.
I understand this, but I’m not seeing the performance jump beyond the default speed, even with tools like Cinebench or Geekbench. I’ve checked my BIOS settings and confirmed hyperthreading is active.
Under load it reaches maximum efficiency at 100% usage and 2.9GHz, while during idle it drops quickly and the performance slows gradually over time.
