Hi, I built a PC five months ago with a Ryzen 5 1600, 8GB RAM, an MSI gaming graphics card with 1050 Ti, an ASUS B350 Prime Plus, and a 7-year-old 2.5TB HDD (no budget left for a new one). I’m wondering if the stuttering in games is due to the hard drive—especially since I often run it at full capacity. Even when playing light games like League of Legends, I still experience stuttering. Can you help?

It might work. Look at CPU, RAM, and GPU usage to identify any bottlenecks, and consider the possibility that the HDD is causing the issue.

I verified multiple times that RAM reaches 80% during gameplay in GTA V while the disk usage hits 100%, and the CPU and GPU remain moderate.

It might have been partially in RAM, but more likely an HDD. A reasonably priced 240GB SSD plus a new 1TB HDD would probably cost just over $100, making it a solid upgrade.
