Challenges with Memory O'C
I attempted it at 1.35v, then adjusted to 1.36v before going straight to 1.4v.
From a bios perspective, this version specifically targets memory stability concerns. If you're running an older BIOS update for this model, it may resolve certain issues. The 3000 series updates don’t offer significant advantages beyond CPU improvements; a switch to something like the 7A40vA6 would seem more practical.
I explored the details and it seems the corsair dims are likely HXS modules, though the exact model isn't clear. Checking the product code or letter should help you find the right info. Use the calculator to determine safe timing options and consider different SoC voltages for your setup. Let me know if you need more guidance.
That’s a beta version of the bio—where did you find that motherboard? If it allows you to swap it out with the one I recommended, since you’re not using a 3000 series chip, you probably don’t need that updated BIOS. Because of size constraints in the latest releases, some older components were removed, so if you’re okay downgrading, it might be best to go with the newest model listed on their support site: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...NG-PLUS-AC
weird. So anyway, since that is a beta bios I would try to change it. Are you comfortable updating the bios? I would suggest you do it while connected to a battery backup or something so that you don't accidentally brick the board if the power goes out
I previously had a gigabyte motherboard that I upgraded to the newest BIOS without any problems. To determine the exact chip model, you’ll need details about the memory module—specifically its type and specifications.
