I’m working on evaluating the memory performance of my new system. I’ve installed EVGA X299 Dark paired with an i9-10900X and am filling four slots with Corsair 3000 MHz CL15 32GB modules (128GB total). I’m using the XMP profile and everything seems stable, passing all tests. When I run PassMark PerformanceTest with one slot active, the results are consistently solid—reads around 13.9k and writes near 8.2k. Adding another slot boosts reads to ~15.2k and writes to ~13k, while three slots bring in ~15.3k reads and ~13.7k writes. Going to four slots gives around 10.1k reads and 15.3k writes, a noticeable jump. However, quad slots show a steep decline—reads drop about 33% and writes fall roughly 87% compared to single-channel performance. This suggests something is affecting multi-channel operation, possibly due to controller or firmware quirks. I’m also seeing similar results across different slots in the same benchmark, indicating a potential hardware inconsistency. I’m curious whether my sticks are all performing equally well or if one is lagging behind. For further clarity, I’d like more detailed memory tests and guidance on alternative benchmarks that can confirm if PassMark is the issue. Please let me know how to proceed.

The 32gb slot seems excessive. Could you be exceeding the Max capacity? They might only support 16gb. Verify your motherboard's QVL and ensure the system has enough 32gb RAM installed.
