Certain applications behaving oddly post-GPU installation
I recently put in my first new GPU in eight years—a 1080 Ti—and it’s actually my very first AMD card (9070 XT). Since then, I’ve faced some problems. Mostly, non-gaming programs have started acting oddly after installation. Specifically, Steam and Logitech G Hub are both behaving similarly. Here’s what I notice: after a fresh boot, they launch normally. But if I close and reopen them during that same cycle, they take about 2–3 minutes to come back online. This continues until I power on the PC again, at which point Steam appears in Task Manager but doesn’t open for several minutes. G Hub does show up, but it keeps looping the splash screen and won’t let me interact with it. I’ve never waited long enough for G Hub to actually open compared to Steam. It feels strange that such issues popped up right after installing a new GPU. Anyone have any suggestions?
