I explored several Linux distributions on my older Windows Server machine and CentOS 7 turned out to be a good fit. However, when reinstalling, it failed to recognize my Intel integrated NIC. It seems I was dealing with an NVIDIA NIC. Looking up this issue only brought up solutions for NVIDIA NICs, but none of them helped. Any suggestions?

Check the available nic by running lspci.

The repository should include a driver, but the network needs access to it. Consider using a USB NIC if available, or CentOS 6 will suffice otherwise.

You can move the file to a USB drive and then copy it elsewhere.
