Just acquired a setup using an I3-9100f on a H310M motherboard—it’s a solid configuration with enough PCIe slots for the GPU, Wi-Fi/Networking card, and even an HBA. I’m considering turning it into a server, so I wanted to confirm if the CC150 is suitable for this board: GIGABYTE H310M S2 2.0 (rev. 1.0). There’s limited documentation available, and I haven’t found much info online or on YouTube. I was hoping to connect with someone who has a similar build before making the purchase. Also, I’m curious about its undervolting performance and power efficiency—especially since I’ve had issues with Asus and MSI boards not working as expected with certain CPUs.

Based on available information, this CPU performs optimally with H360, H370, and Z370 boards. In the H310 lineup, certain models from MSI, ASUS, and GIGABYTE are compatible. The stepping type is "R0" rather than standard "P0". Please verify your motherboard compatibility with this stepping mode. If your board supports XEON-E3-12xx-V3, it should work. You'll also need a strong graphics card—avoid low-end GeForce 610/710 or older models like HD 5450/6450. Thermal performance is good, but a high-quality CPU cooler (minimum 4 heat pipes tower) is recommended.
