Causing system failures in mobile devices
It might be that your motherboard isn't capable of handling it. Verify whether the RAM you're using is compatible with your board—check the manufacturer's site. Enabling the XMP profile could be causing an overclock, which may affect stability. At this stage, it's difficult to determine. The issue you mentioned is common after a system reset. Try running your PC for a few days with the RAM set to its default configuration. If it freezes, the problem likely lies elsewhere; if not, you can attempt to overclock again but start at a lower frequency. If stability returns after a while, you should encounter a performance ceiling when the issue resurfaces.
I've done some RAM stress tests with MemTest and while running Cinebench simultaneously, the system feels a bit shaky. When XMP is off it seems smoother, but under heavy load both tests show instability. Could this suggest I need a better quality motherboard for the X570 to improve stability?
