I’m very aware of even small changes like tearing or frame drops. I’ve been using Siege at around 144fps for several months, spending a lot of time adjusting textures and checking for issues like stuttering. Last night I started it and noticed the tearing was much worse than before—completely unlike the minimal issues we had recently. I haven’t tweaked any settings, added new software, or changed my display. This seems unusual to me, but from what I see, screen tearing has gotten significantly worse. On the side of a wall, there are now about ten large tears across a vertical area. It wasn’t like this before. The problem isn’t tied to the frame rate at all. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. What’s going on?

System specs: i7-4790, 1070, Extreme, 16GB RAM, 1600MHz, Samsung Evo 250GB, Evga Gold G2, 650W power.
