Cat 6 vs Cat 6e
Cat 6 vs Cat 6e
I have to network cable one is Cat 6 other is Cat 6e, Cat 6 is connected to my PC and Cat 6e to my printer. My question is that is there any difference between Cat 6a and Cat 6e or are they same, 2nd question is that should I swap the cables or let it be. Have 8 Mbps VDSL internet connection on copper line.
Cat6e indicates an upgraded version, Cat6a adds more, and Cat6a improves upon that with better performance. These standards aim to reduce interference and signal loss, boosting data speed over extended ranges. However, for a printer, these enhancements are unnecessary since the connection doesn't require much bandwidth, even over long distances.
