I’d better wait for the official news before deciding if Zen 3 is worth investing in, and if not, I’d consider a 3600 alternative.

I was considering a switch to a more robust motherboard. I prefer not to replace components immediately; I hope issues get fixed beforehand. My current setup is reaching its maximum capacity at 1080p.

To upgrade now, follow eeeee1's advice and choose a 3600 with a good B450 board or a B550 board for PCIe 4.0 support.

A 1070 model should suffice, and a solid 3600 cl16 RAM setup will be adequate for gaming. Unless your project requires significantly more memory beyond what a gaming rig typically needs.
