I had a very cooperative group once, besides a 12-year-old who was playing, we managed to reach the final at 15:whatever and he got tackled just before winning :3333.

Suggest playing with a few friends on a basic setup, you don't need a fully pre-made game for organizing matches. The key is to keep things relaxed, not overly serious about competition—it's just casual 5v5 play.
