I own the Gigabyte GTX 4060 Windforce OC as listed in my profile, but I’m considering upgrading to a 5060 or 5070 GTX. My budget ranges from $400 to $550, and I’m open to spending a bit more if necessary. It seems my system might be limited in this upgrade. Do you have any online stores you recommend for purchasing the card directly? I don’t play games and just use my PC for office work, productivity, software development, and multimedia editing. Thanks.

What changes are needed for the current 4060? How would a 5060/5070 address those limitations?

Need more specifics on what software you are using.

I'm not sure if it's meeting my needs, but the screens flicker black and there are blocks of horizontal thick white graphics across the screen. When switching user accounts, clicking "switch user," someone mentioned it could be causing a bottleneck because I've noticed sluggishness in some UI graphics in the OS and software. How can I verify that no bottleneck is happening in my custom build, including the GPU? Thanks.

It seems this is not related to a GPU upgrade.
I rely on Adobe and comparable programs on less powerful systems without any visual issues.

With a 14900k, it's not unexpected that it might be showing signs of wear. Are your system settings current? Your PSU isn't a top-tier model either.

The i9 might degrade this way quickly? Could be due to certain factors. Thanks for the input! I'll think about staying with the present GPU but value more opinions. Thanks again!
