So recently some unusual events have occurred, but I’m still puzzled about what’s happening. I notice two of my drives are experiencing strange conflicts. My primary OS drive and my backup drive seem to be colliding, though I’m not sure if the third one is involved. Earlier, my OS drive filled up unexpectedly with empty space—no files visible—but when I booted with the backup installed, it looked clean. After cleaning the backup drive with DBAN and reformatting it again, the problem continues. Now I’m attempting to format the backup drive in Windows, but I receive a warning that it’s being used by other programs and can’t proceed. I have no idea what’s going on or how to fix it.

I believe I should reinstall all my operating systems onto my OS drive, erase the backup HDD, and check if the problem continues. My drives are set up in a unique way to hold Mac, Windows, and Linux on one drive.

If you need to format a drive but can't use Windows, you can try EaseUS Partition Master. It's highly recommended, I frequently use it and it handles partitions smoothly without issues. Give it a shot!

After reinstalling, I found the issue occurs each time I start Windows with a new drive connected. The system displays "WiFi 2" instead of the correct name when I connect a new network. I’m unsure why this happens or how to fix it.
