I'm considering pairing a GT1030 with either a Ryzen 5 1600 or 2600 for Minecraft recording at 120 fps with OBS CPU encoder. Do you know if that setup is feasible? If not, what would be a better option for you? Thanks!

Considering your needs, it might be wiser to opt for an Intel i5 11400 with Optifine 1.8.9 or a setup using Sodium, Lithium, and Phosphor for 1.16/1.17. This combination should help you achieve over 120 fps in games. For recording purposes, both the 2600 and 11400 can handle 1080p at 120fps, as recording demands are lower than streaming.
