There seems to be an issue with your internet connection speed depending on whether you're using Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Since you've already tried disconnecting your external Wi-Fi card and noticed only slight changes, it might be worth checking your network settings, router configuration, or hardware connections. Let me know if you'd like guidance on troubleshooting steps!

What precise rates are you observing? Which method are you using to gauge these speeds? What is the wireless adapter’s brand and model? Which device are you linking to via Ethernet? Is it a switch, router, or Powerline adapter? What is the hardware specification of this gadget? Are you accessing the network through the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency?

I believe the upload speed is around 270 MB/s while the download is about 1 MB/s. I used Google’s built-in speed test and Ookla’s data. I’m using the Verizon Fios router (link provided) and connecting via Ethernet from my router to my PC (link). There isn’t a separate channel for 2.4/5 GHz in the default setup.

Which units are you using—MB/s or Mb/s? Are those figures correct? Which rates are you being charged for? Check speedtest.net and fast.com for details. What kind of Ethernet cable is there? Does it appear worn, bent, or frayed? Try a different cable and restart the FiOS router. Review the connection settings.
