To avoid the desktop wallpaper when taking a screenshot in Windows 10, adjust your settings or use specific tools that exclude the background from capture. This behavior wasn’t seen before.

Here’s an example:
Press alt+print screen to take a screenshot of the focused window, then use win+shift+s to select a custom area.

I'm 34 and have been using Windows for 26 years. I was never aware of Alt+PrtScr—this has really impacted my workflow. I typically take a full screen shot and trim what I don’t need.

It seems like you're observing your wallpaper appearing on one screen while printing another. This could happen if both displays are active at the same time.
