Hey there, I just got an AMD 3900x with a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite. After some research, it looks like I might be missing out on performance potential with my current RAM. What I have right now is the HX424C15FB2K2 (HyperX Fury) CL15 2400 MHz. I figured the sweet spot for AMD’s 3000 Series would be around 3200 MHz CL16, so I was considering the Corsair Vengeance LPX CL16 3200 MHz model. Would switching to that really make a noticeable difference? From the tests I’ve seen, there’s a potential boost of 5-10%, but I’m especially curious about how it would affect gaming performance. The optimal frequency is 3600mhz CL16 RAM. The gap between 2400mhz and 3600mhz is substantial, which is why an upgrade would be beneficial.

3200Mhz works well too, you don’t have to push it too high.

it's just one perfect area, which is why it's called a spot instead of a range. while 3200 is certainly better than 2400, 3600c16 even surpasses it.

The clock speeds are lower at 3600mhz (cl17). Purchasing cl16 3600mhz RAM provides improved performance.
