I was testing a USB 2.0 connection on my Asus Z590P and noticed a capacitor touching my finger while inserting the cable. No visible damage, but I’m curious about their durability. Wasn’t putting a lot of pressure, yet everything seems fine. Just wondering if I might have accidentally harmed anything.

They're generally difficult to remove easily with light pressure, which suggests you're capable. There might be a slight bend on one side if it happens. To be certain, make sure to inspect it carefully.

I couldn't really make out anything, and the cap is positioned very near the board so the legs aren't visible.

It seems okay. You'd need to really push on it or twist it a few times to actually break a leg. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

While checking if it was loose, it appeared to have a minor flex, but the change was very small and hard to detect.

If it's only gently shifting and not completely swaying, it remains securely fastened.
