I'm working with ASUS GPU Tweak to boost my Strix GTX 980. Right now I'm at 1488 (+209) Boost / 7490 (+480) Memory, which seems to be the top I can reach on stock voltage. I'm testing stability in Unigine Heaven. My GPU Tweak logs show the GPU drawing up to 1212 mV (maximum stock voltage). When I try to increase the max voltage by 25mV in GPU Tweak and attempt to raise the boost clock, I encounter artifacts and still only reach 1212 mV. I have an EVGA 650W PSU, any suggestions?

Kohwali is adjusting the settings on their Strix GTX 980 using ASUS GPU Tweak. They're experiencing a boost of 1488 plus 209 and memory at 7490 plus 480, which seems to be the highest stable setting on the original voltage. They're testing stability with Unigine Heaven and note that in GPU Tweak logs, the GPU draws up to 1212 mV. Increasing the voltage by 25mV in GPU Tweak doesn't improve performance and still caps at 1212 mV. They have an EVGA 650W power supply and are seeking advice on whether it would make a difference.

Kohwali is adjusting the settings on their Strix GTX 980 using ASUS GPU Tweak. They're experiencing high boost and memory voltages but are unable to exceed the stock limits in GPU Tweak. They're testing stability with Unigine Heaven and note that their GPU draws a maximum of 1212 mV in the log files. Increasing the voltage in GPU Tweak doesn't improve performance and still caps at 1212 mV. They also mention an EVGA power supply and wonder if it would help, but haven't found any software that can bypass this limitation. They recall a previous software that helped but stopped working after driver version 347.
