You opt for premium connections to receive faster baseline performance. Once you start downloading games through a wired link, you experience download rates around 3mb/s, with upload speeds hovering near 15–16mb/s—considerably solid. Download speeds then vary between 5mb/s and 24–25mb/s.

I need to express my feelings clearly, but I should keep the tone respectful. Let's find a way to share this without causing offense.

LTE remains quicker than those rates... its fiber optic is clearly shouting Telstra... where do the 500mb/s options go?

Not too far from the center, though the nearby 'tower' is a poor portable device at the footy oval, about 30km away. It would be great if people didn’t damage it during games.

That's right. Back then, you'd have a good chance of getting GPRS in certain areas when you were out in the Midwest.

If it's NBN they don't sell access above 250Mb/s (only available on some RSP's), for above that it's out of the hands of the RSP's. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/faqs/...n-the-nbn/ NBN co have said previously that there just isn't enough demand to make faster connections viable. I don't know how much fluff and BS is in that though.

A few people in New Zealand face issues with VDSL, fibre, or LTE despite having a cell tower just 400 meters away.

Isn't there not enough interest? That's not just about occasional users—mostly active internet users make up over 80%, which I'd consider a solid demand.

You're missing Microcenter, and you're puzzled about why Crocodile Dundee relocated to America.
