RyanTScott confirmed the issue was resolved with the BIOS update. When D2 and C2 failed, there was RAM available in A2 and B2.

Remove the RAM from A2 and B2, place them into C2 and D2, and then fill A2 and B2 to complete four units.

Consider placing RAM from C2 and D2 into A2 and B2 or allocate separate DIMMs for A2 and B2.
