Consider slightly curving it outward, securing it firmly, and then adjusting it back to fit perfectly. I’m not entirely confident about the best approach.

I chose to adjust the holes at the bottom, which allowed the movement needed to realign the remaining holes at the top. The I/O shield was simply placed against the case—no need to secure it further. Thanks to everyone who assisted.
