it depends on your motherboard. there are various methods, but sometimes they aren't possible. we need more details like the make, model, revision, and bios version. my motherboard is a ga-g41m-es2l, i have the latest bios, and i'm just attempting to reach 3.0ghz, i know it's achievable.
