I've been attempting to increase my GTX 970 ACX 2.0 SSC's clock speed using MSI Afterburner, but whenever I go beyond +50, the stress tests work without issues, yet games like Overwatch often cause black screens and monitor flickering for a few seconds before crashing. This occurs not only during gaming but also on my desktop when everything goes black. What might be happening? Why can't I successfully overclock? Thanks for your assistance.

I've been attempting to increase the overclock of my GTX 970 ACX 2.0 SSC using MSI Afterburner, but whenever I raise the core clock beyond about +50, stress tests work without issues, yet games like Overwatch sometimes cause black screens and monitor flickering for a few seconds before crashing. This occurs not only during gaming but also on the desktop when everything goes black. What might be happening? Why can't I successfully overclock? Thanks for your assistance.
