Can't login to Windows

I power on my PC, type in the password using space and nothing appears. The login screen seems missing the profile picture or pin entry area. While checking other settings, I removed everything from the NGC folder (likely c/windows/service profiles/appdata/local/[path]) due to a pin problem, but I'm unsure if I did it correctly and restarted without setting a new pin. Could someone assist? I don’t want to reinstall files or programs by resetting the system. I’ve heard about a Windows Installer option that saves everything to Windows.old, but I’m not sure if I need a new license or if linking it to my Microsoft account will still work.

Consider using Ctrl+Alt+Del on the sign-in screen. It worked for me when the login box wasn't visible.
